Mzuzu, June 26, 2019: Zolozolo Church of Central African Presbytery (CCAP) of Livingstonia Synod says it has embarked on a fundraising drive to raise money for various development activities at the church.

Reverend Mwai Chilongozi of the church said some of the projects which the church intend to embark on, include construction of a brick fence around the church, purchasing a vehicle and building Mganthira Prayer House among others.

She said the fence would provide security at the church’s premises while the vehicle would be used to ease transportation challenges the church is facing in carrying out its outreach programs.

“Apart from constructing a fence and buying the vehicle, we would like to build a church at Mganthira so that christians at Lunyangwa Research Station and Chimaliro should have a better prayer house,” she said.

She said some of the fund raising activities included choir and music festivals besides appealing to christians to contribute towards the implementation of the proposed projects.

The church’s Session Clerk,Lyold Mtambo said the church intends to raise at least K7Million and appealed to members of other faith organizations and churches to assist the church in meeting the targeted amount of money.

“We cannot on our own manage to achieve our ambitions, we therefore appeal for assistance from other well-wishers,” said Mtambo.

Zolozolo CCAP Church was officially opened in 2000.
