GOtv prices hiked effective April this year

Lilongwe, March 5:  Multichoice Malawi has announced the price hike of GOtv plus subscription from K4, 100 to K4, 700 effective April 1, 2015.

This comes barely a year after the subscription prices were hiked.

According to the Marketing Manager for Multichoice Malawi, Chimwemwe Nyirenda, the price hike is because of the adding of new channels to the bouquet.

Nyirenda explained that the bouquet will be adjusting its prices whenever new channels have been added.

Founded on January 18, 2013, GOtv is deemed one of the cheapest pay television which has over 29 great channels, from religion, series, documentaries, drama, politics, sports and music among others.

GOtv is a product of Multichoice Malawi which is a new pay television aimed at providing great family entertainment and it is Africa first pay television operating using the next generation of Digital Video Broadcast standard (DVB).

 GOtv is available in Malawi, Zambia, Uganda and Kenya among other countries.
