Lilongwe, November 17, 2017: Men from all walks of Malawi have converged at Crossroads Hotel as Pentecost International Christian Centre (PICC) for a four-day 3rd Men’s Annual Conference in Lilongwe from the 15th to 18th November  under the theme ‘Making Maximum Impact’.

PICC is Mandated to bring hope to the hopeless and life to the dying and help them become true disciples of Jesus Christ. The PICC Men’s Ministry (Men of Valor) support this mandate through prayer, evangelism and hospitality.

In an interview with the Chairman of Men of Valor, Van Hess Bismarck, said this was the 3rd time for the ministry to hold an annual conference since its inception seven years ago with this year’s theme dubbed ‘Making Maximum Impact’.

“This is the 3rd time for the ministry to organize a Men’s conference like this. What we want is to equip men with maximum impact in all areas of their life, in business, workplace and families among other places.

“We want to see change in men in order to become better husbands, better fathers, better men in businesses, better workmates in workplaces and in all areas of their life, that is why we came up with the theme Making Maximum Impact,” Bismarck said.

He further said the conference would bring testimonies to most men, saying most of them are causative agents of chaos in their families and even in workplaces.

“According to the first day of the conference, a good number of men turned up for prayers which prove that at the end of the conference,  a good number of people will benefit out of the gathering.

“Not all people are coming  physically attending the conference but some other people will be watching on face book on Pastor Esau Banda’s Face Book page where you can watch him live,” Bismarck said.

He added that the conference is not only targeting members of the church but also every man regardless of denomination.

“This is an opportunity for all men to come and join us regardless of their denomination as the conference is held at a centre point, easy access for everyone,” he said.

According to Bismarck, the main speakers are Pastor Esau Banda, the founder of the church and Pastor Mrs Loyce Banda.

PICC has branches in Mponera, Ntcheu, Kasungu, Mzuzu, Zomba, Blantyre, Mchinji and Karonga among other districts. However, the church decided to hold the conference in Lilongwe at its main headquarters.
