Lilongwe, September 28, 2017: Holy heart Organization will return on October 7,2017 in Blantyre with a charity show to empower youth and women.

The show will take place at BAT grounds behind Polytechnic Management Centre in the city.

The Organization was established last year torespond to the need and problems that women and children are facing like discrimination, abuses, lack of civic education in various grounds.

Speaking in an interview with Malawi News Agency (Mana) in Lilongwe on Thursday, Director of Holy heart Organization Jamina Bottoman said her Organization is facing a lot of challenges.

“We are doing all this without sponsors that’s why we have hosted the show so that it could help us to solve some of the problems we are facing, we want to buy equipment for women like sawing machines, tailoring materials, saloon equipment and bakery equipment’s,” she pointed out

Bottoman added that they have a charity nursery school where orphans and vulnerable children come to learn and eat every day for free and they come in the morning and go home in the afternoon.

“For the nursery school we want to build a shelter as the number is increasing to buy food items, learning materials and supporting our outreach orphans,” she narrated.

The Director said they are expecting to raise K 5,000,000 during this show.

“We couldn't raise it only on this show but even anyone could come in and helps us because the money which would raise is going straight to help the projects we have for women, school girls and children,” she said.

According to Bottoman, they have lined up different activities like social football and netball games where Holy heart teams would play against PSI teams and activities performed by Holy heart children.

“We have invited artists like Piksy, Blaze, Sir Patrick’s and Roy View just to mention a few to perform at this show,” she echoed.

Romeo Nyondo aka D.A.S.H, a Creative Producer and TV personality at MBC said, he would work together with Elisha Mboya in collaboration with the Organization to put out a successful charity show.

“I would be the host of this show and we would bring the youth from different areas together and share experiences with the aim of promoting self-reliance and the ways we could be productive to the nation through the lined up activities,” he said.
