BLANTYRE, February 11, 2019: Word of Faith City Wanders Church in conjunction with Creative for Christ Movement has organised a Youth on Fire Concert scheduled for February 9 this year in Blantyre, Chilobwe.

The event has been organised to reach out to youths with the gospel of Christ Jesus at the same time enabling them to interact as they share motives and challenges they face as youths.

In an interview with the Malawi News Agency (MANA) on Friday, Youth Director for the youths, Macdonald Jonathan said this is a gospel concert edging all youths from different dominations to be part of it.

“As you know that our population is dominated by the youth, we saw the need to interact with them. The youth will have the privilege to witness inborn talents from their fellow youths in different arts,” Jonathan said.

Asked on whether people will be paying to attend the event, Jonathan said the event is for free and all the youth are welcome to attend.

He said this is the beginning of such events and from Blantyre they will move to different regions sensitizing the youth on the matters of life through performances and activities.

The event will also be spiced up by different artists, such as Limbani Simenti, Kelvin Sings, Suffix, Shammal Vocals and many more.

According to one of the performing artists performing on this day, Suffix real name Aubrey Ghambi, all is set to deliver on this day.

“People should expect a good performance from me. My performance is on its own and my appearance on that day is enough,” Suffix said.

The reverse artist, Shammal vocals real name Shammah Sitolo said he is set to deliver nothing but the best.

“People should expect new stuff from me. Something that I will keep as a surprise,” he said.

The event will take place at the Cathedral of Word of Faith City Wonders Church in new Chilobwe.
