Written by  Mphatso Sam

Blantyre, December 19, 2018: Prophet Shepherd Bushiri popularly known as Major 1 of the Enlightened Christian Gathering Church on Tuesday evening launched his six books called the prophetic codes in Blantyre.

Centering on spiritual revelation on different topics affecting the society, Bushiri has written the books using biblical wisdom and examples which mostly tackle leadership insights and solutions in key areas such as church administration, business management and communication theories.

Speaking during the launch, Bushiri said the six books are Mysteries Surrounding Your Money which sheds more light on the purpose of money, dangers of money and not being a slave of money considering that other people cannot live without money while to some money cannot live without them.

He said the other books are Sleeping Near The Ark which discusses the reasons why some people slip their opportunities, The Names of God which reveals that God has 364 names, The Prophetic Gates, Men of Prayer and Crafts of Effective Public Speaking.

“These books are informative, they carry so much information for people’s benefit, the books provide some basic steps one can take in the society because there is an element of positive thinking.

“I have illustrated steps a person can take in a contemporary world to achieve their objectives. I believe that these books will help in terms of leadership skills,” Bushiri said.

The renowned South African-based business magnate added that the books were being launched in Malawi to show patriotism since he loves his country and feels that the knowledge being shared through the books, should be shared with his beloved country, Malawi.

“I was supposed to launch the books in other countries like America, India where they read a lot but I have done it in Malawi as a demonstration of love for my country,” Bushiri said.

He said the six books would be translated in Chichewa and other seven main local languages in the country, besides being accessible in audio formats in form of CDs.

Bushiri expressed disappointment with the criticism people were giving to the current leadership, saying credit should be given where it is due as the current government has changed Mzuzu City with perfect roads referring them to Taiwan walking roads.

The books were first launched in South Africa and the launch was also done in other countries across the world and currently, the prophetic codes have sold over 10,000 copies and other 150, 000 books apart from the six newly launched, have been sold in a period of six months.

Since 2015, the man of God and businessman who is a sponsor of Area 44 dancing group of Lilongwe, has 31 books to his credit which he has written including In Forex and Do Business Until I Come.

During the event, Bushiri made a donation of 100 books to the Malawi National Library Services and an autograph to people who bought the books on the day.

The launch was spiced by music and poetic performances.

Currently, the books are available at Grey Matter and MANENO bookshops both in Lilongwe and Blantyre and efforts are underway to have the books sold and accessible in different parts of the country.
