CSQ in a no-shave campaign

Written by  Yamikani Yapuwa

Blantyre, November 7, 2018: As one way of bringing awareness about men's cancers, Cancer Survivors Quest (CSQ) has embarked on a No Shave campaign throughout November (2018) to look at the cancers that affect men.

"The No Shave, also known as the November campaign, is a campaign that targets men's health. We at this time look at men's cancer," CSQ Executive Director, Chikumbutso Ng'ombe told Malawi News Agency on Monday.

Ng'ombe said during the month, men who want to join the campaign keep a moustache or leave their head unshaved for a whole month.
"The awareness is for people of both genders, but the No Shave is for men that may choose.

"We also have a booklet for men's health which goes at MK2000 that we are selling during the period. The booklet can be bought by anyone," added Ng'ombe.

He said apart from spreading awareness on cancers that affect male persons, they also intend to get more men above 40 years of age to go for screening.
