Written by  Loness Gwazanga

Blantyre, December 13, 2017:  The Lilongwe based Kaning’a CCAP Praise Team will on 17th December, 2017, hold a Christmas concert at Crossroads Hotel in the city in order to give the audience pure Christmas carols.

The group’s publicity secretary, Joseph Enoch Phiri told Malawi News Agency (Mana) on Tuesday that the show, which will be held under the theme ‘Beautiful Saviour’, will be unique as all earmarked artists to perform are currently at their peak.

Phiri said the concert will have four supporting groups namely, Kaning’a CCAP Heavenly Kids, The New Jerusalem Choir, Jordan Choir and Lilongwe Community Choir.

“[Right from the start [of the concert], we’ll do pure Christmas songs and even the supporting groups are aware of that. The show is set to start at 6:00 pm and end at around 9:00 pm. Patrons will pay the entry fee of K5000 each,” said Phiri.

He added that the group had previously held such an event at their church in Area 47, Lilongwe but thought of now taking it out of the church campus because of the overwhelming response from patrons last year.

Phiri then promised massive and ample time during each group’s performance and urged all to patronize the event to thank God for the gift of life given this year ending.
