Fredokiss to storm Ndirande, to hold a free show

Written by  Loness Gwazanga

Blantyre, August 9, 2017:  One of Malawi’s best hip-hop artists who calls himself Ghetto King Kong, Fredokiss, will on 27 August this year hold a free show at Ndirande Hall Ground in respect of his fans.

He said Young Kay, Dare Devils, Rina and The Thomson will also be there to spice up the show.

“Tell a friend, to tell a friend, to tell someone, to tell an enemy, to tell everybody that the Ghetto King Kong has a free show for Blantyre in Ndirande,” said Fredokiss whose real name is Penjani Kalua.

The Masters Degree holder in Public Health majoring in Social and Behaviour Change Communication ‘AKA’ Ntchana said the show will be for the whole Blantyre as no such event will take place elsewhere in the city.

One of his fans, Alfred Mikozi described the gesture as marvelous since it represents him as the real king of the ghetto.

“Fredokiss is a true Ghetto King Kong and holding a free show only shows that he indeed does it for the Ghetto people. Most artists claim to be from the Ghetto but they charge during their shows. From now on we are team Fredo,” he said.

Meanwhile, the artist has been forced to release a new video called Dear Jah which was leaked by Audio Malawi.

While bemoaning the behavior, Fredokiss said, “Audio Malawi you have no right to upload and leak my work, it’s illegal”.
