Lilongwe, January 31, 2019. All is set for Mrand Miss Valentine Balaka which will take place at Kapinga Lodge on February 3, 2018 in the district.

Speaking in an interview with Malawi News Agency, one of the organisers for the event, Paul Matinga said the aim of the show was to bring spice and more entertainment to the day of the lovers known as Valentine’s Day.

“We thought of organising this event in older to shade more light on what valentine means, which is showing love towards one another, not only love between man and a woman but even love of our neighbours which comes from God,” Matinga said.

He said the grand price for pageant would be K10, 000 only.

In addition, Matinga said there would be prizes to be given out on the day. On this, he urged sponsors to organise the event annually.

The show will be spiced up by artists like Sevenomore, Lionbrand, Shidoman and other upcoming artists.

One of the artists to perform on the day, Lionbrand said he was prepared to perform on the day and ready to give people a special performance.

The Ding dong star said valentine is a special day as far as love is concerned and because of this, people should expect nothing but good music that will spice up their day.
