Mzuzu based gospel artists Twin-Light to release a double

Written by  Lusayo Singogo

Lilongwe, November 7, 2018: Mzuzu based twin gospel artists Twin-Light, real names Faith and Patience Nyirenda are set to drop their newest two tracks titled With You and Alive on November 9, 2018.

Faith, whose stage name is Crecile, sang With You featuring Elka and it was produced by Shats. On the other hand, Patience, popularly known as Jerry, sang Alive featuring Nanja and it was produced by Crecile. Both songs were mixed and mastered by Ark Beat Records.

In an interview with Malawi News Agency (Mana), Crecile said they decided to do a double song release in order to boost the impact of their goal.

“As twins, we thought it would be special to release our songs on the same day. Also, we thought it would be a better way to effectively relay our aim to the public, which is to remind and introduce to others a God that loves them and wants to relate with them personally,” said Crecile.

He added that the main message of the song With You is the realization of how incomplete people are without God and how the gift of Jesus was intended for all to always be with the Father.

Jerry told Mana that, “the context of the song Alive is reflected on how graced we are now that we have Jesus.”

“During the whole process of writing the song, my meditation was on how precious the freedom Christ gives to us is. He set us free through his death on Calvary so we can live, hence the title,” he added.

He further said their target group were the youth, but over the years, they realized that not only young people listen to the songs.
“So we aim to preach Jesus to everyone despite their age,” added Jerry.

The songs will be included on Twin-Light’s upcoming album Anchor, set to be released soon. This will be the twins’ fourth album, following their debut with Death to Life in 2014. They released a second album Vessel of Honor in 2015 and dropped a third album titled Never Ending in 2016.
